These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Stephanie Collin Photography website and the booking of photography services. By accessing this website, submitting an inquiry, or booking a session, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Services

Stephanie Collin Photography provides lifestyle photography services, including but not limited to family, maternity, newborn, branding, and portrait sessions. Specific details, deliverables, pricing, and timelines are outlined at the time of booking and/or within your signed contract.

Booking & Payment

  • A signed contract and payment (retainer or full amount, as specified) are required to secure your session date.

  • Session fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • Remaining balances must be paid according to the terms outlined in your contract.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice but will not affect confirmed bookings.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Clients are encouraged to provide as much notice as possible if rescheduling is required.

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and may be limited.

  • In the event the photographer must cancel due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, all payments will be refunded or credited toward a future session.

Specific cancellation and rescheduling policies may vary and are outlined in your individual contract.

Creative Style & Editing

By booking with Stephanie Collin Photography, you acknowledge that you are familiar with and accept the photographer’s style, including editing, posing approach, and overall aesthetic.

Final image selection, editing style, and artistic decisions are at the discretion of the photographer. RAW files are not provided.

Image Delivery

  • Galleries are delivered digitally via a secure online gallery.

  • Turnaround times are provided at booking and may vary by session type.

  • Gallery links are intended for personal use and should not be shared publicly unless permitted.

Usage & Copyright

All images are copyrighted by Stephanie Collin Photography.

Clients receive a personal-use license to download and print images for personal, non-commercial use. Images may not be altered, sold, licensed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

Portfolio & Marketing Use (Opt-Out Option)

Stephanie Collin Photography reserves the right to use images for portfolio, website, marketing, social media, and promotional purposes.

Clients may opt out of marketing and portfolio usage by submitting a written request prior to the session or at the time of contract signing. Opting out does not affect the session fee.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use

Images created by Stephanie Collin Photography may not be used for training artificial intelligence systems, machine learning models, or generative technologies by clients or third parties. No images may be uploaded to AI tools, databases, or platforms for analysis, training, or generation purposes without explicit written consent.

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Arrive on time and prepared for the session

  • Ensure all participants are aware of the session details

  • Communicate any concerns or special requests in advance

The photographer is not responsible for missed images due to lack of cooperation, lateness, or circumstances beyond control.

Liability

Stephanie Collin Photography will take reasonable care in the performance of services but is not liable for circumstances beyond control, including but not limited to weather, lighting conditions, or participant behavior.

The photographer is not responsible for emotional distress, dissatisfaction, or subjective interpretation of images.

Website Use

All content on this website, including images, text, and branding, is the property of Stephanie Collin Photography and may not be copied or used without permission.

Third-Party Services

This website and photography workflow may use third-party services such as Squarespace, UseSession, Sprout Studio, and secure payment processors. Use of these services is subject to their own terms and policies.

Changes to These Terms

Stephanie Collin Photography reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
